Madar is a poisonous Indian plant. It is not eaten by the animals but this plant has several mystic and medicinal qualities. Generally madar plants with purple coloured flowers are found everywhere but a madar plant with white flowers are rare and is called Shwetark (White MADAR). It is told that near about of this plant a buried treasure surely lies.

Find out the root of white madar. Lord Ganesh lives in its root. Sometimes this root is found in the shape of Lord Ganesh abd if not then make the desired shape by a carpenter.
Paint red vermilion on it and wrap in a red cloth and put it on the worship-place. Worship it with faith that it is the idol of Lord Ganesh.

Much is written in its praise in ancient books. This Shwetark Ganpati destroys poverty, all hindrances, curse, evil effects of black magic etc. The mantra for this – “Om Vakra Tunday Hum” and “Om Shri Ganeshay Namah”. The worshipper should use red sit, red flowers, red sandal and coral-rosary or Rudraksha-rosary. Offer gram, gram-flour to Shwetark-Ganpati. This way the worshipper feels the influence very shortly.
